THE I.W.W. INQUIRY.
EVIDENCE A. TISSUE OP LIES. Sydney, Deo. 17. The I.W.W. report, referring to the suspicion raised by Scully that McAlistcr's death was the result of foul play, stateg that it is one of the numerous instances of Scully's untruthfulness asd unncrnpulousness. The report concludes:—"The evidence given at the inquiry was, for the most part, a tissue of falsehoods aimed at ruining men whose good name is peculiarly open to attack." The Judge was convinced that the dominant motive in Scully's mind was to get money, probably by means of Mack-mail.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
