Admiral Badger, of the Naval Board, argued before the House Naval Committee that it is necessary that '.he- United States, in 1925, should posses-, a navy equal to ay other Power in the world.— 'Aui-N.Z. Cable Assoc. AIP. SEEVICE ORGANISATION. Washington, Dec. 13. Major-General Keuley has revealed that M. Clnmenceau appealed for 6QQO airmen and 10,000 airplanes as the basis of the American aircraft programme. The United States had not a single airman trained when the appeal arrived, but within a year 4950 reserve pilots and balloon officers were ready and 440 additional were also- trained.—Aus.-N.Z.
