SINK. FEATHER MATCHED matches have been played on the New Plymouth Green during the last few days for the "rink feathers." The holders were Binnie, Hill, Wood, am) Lnscombe, and they were challenged by Carter, Medley, Bellringer, and JohnsffS. The challengers won by 28 to 18, and they were later challenged and defeated by Hooper, Washer, Phillips, and A. K. Smart by 23 to 19, Efforts are being made by the Stratford Club to play Injrlewood and Eltham on the. Stratford Green next Thursday. Tt is hoped to hare five rinks from Injjlewood and three from Eltham. The object 1n holding the two contests on tfie one green Is to overtake the loss of time through postponements.
