ST. MARY'S CHURCH.
ORDINATION.AND CONFIRMATION SERVICES. The Bishop of Auckland t(he Right Rev. Dr. Averill) will ordain the Rev A. H. Barnett to the priesthood in St Mary's Church to-morrow morning. Mr Barnett has been working for some time as a deacon in the backbloeks and on the west coast of Taranaki It is more than seven years since the last ordination at St. Mary's, which was conducted by Bishop Crossley in 1911. The service to-morrow will" commence at 10.30 a.m instead of 11 a.m. The Bishop will hold a confirmation service, at St- Mary's at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, and again at Holy Trinity Church, Henui, at 7 p.m. The collections at St. Mary's will be for general purposes; tho special anniversary collections which were to have been taken on November Si in aid of the Sunday 'School building fund will be taken in February next instead- Due notice will be given in tho church and in the Parish Magazine.
