RESTORATION OF RACING DAYS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Replying to Mr. Witty, the Hon. G. W. Sussell "stated in the House to-day that it was not possible to state when the full number of racing days would be restored- The matter had been fixed to July 31. After that the, restoration of the lost days would be" considered by the Government. FEEDING RACES POSTPONED. Feilding, Dec. 9. The Feilding Jockey Club has received official notifications that, owing to the report of the Health officers, the Health Department cannot permit races on the 18th inst. The club has decided to postpone the meeting till January 11, if that date ia available. NEW BRIGHTON TROTS" PUT OFF. Christehurch, Dec. 9. The New Brighton Trotting Club's meeting, postponed from December 16 on account of influenza, will be held on January 2.
