THE CIVIL WAR. REPRESENTATIONS TO END IT. Received Dec. 9, 10.10 p.m. New York, Dec. 9. The New York Times' Pekin correspondent states that American, British, French, Italian, and Japanese Ministers hod audience with President Hsus Chis Chang, urging the Chinese Government to end the civil war. Similar representations were made to the Canton Government, with the statement that their action did not imply the resignation of the independence of the southern Government.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Asosc.
