ON MAIN TRUNK LINE.

The Railway Department lias received news that at midday yesterday an engine and three or four waggons on a mixed train were derailed between Manga weka and Utiku, on the Main Trunk line, by a landslip of considerable magnitude, Tlie mishap caused no personal injury. The slip was due to the unprecedented amount of wet weather lately. It is anticipated it will take some time, to clear the line- Meanwhile through passengers will have to be transhippedj and goods traffic on the line will be held up until the obstruction has .been removed.
