T.J.C. CHRISTMAS MEETING, EXCELLENT (NOMINATIONS.

Considering that the epidemic that is prevailing at present has created dislocation everywhere, and especially, so in racing circles, the nominations received by the secretary of the Taranaki Jockey Club (Mr. E. P. Webster) cannot but be regarded as excellent. Numerically they show an increase on last year, being 174 as against 162. The quality of the horses engaged should provide excellent racing.
