The Guardian learns that Troelsta, on November 13, summoned Queen Wilhelmitia to abdicate. The garrison at The Hague supported the demand, and threatening crowds demonstrated in the streets. The situation seemed for a few hours out of hand. It is stated that the queen decided to abdicate, Ibut during the night loyal troops were brought from the provinces, and the garrison, faced by a big force on the jnorning of November 14, laid down its arms, and the crisis passed. The Government is being reconstructed, and is expected to take strong repressive measures. The position will presently be stabilised. A GRAVE CRISIS. OVERTHROW OP GOVERNMENT UNLIIULLY. Received Nov. 20, 9.35 p.m. London, Nov. 19. Events in Holland are shrouded in mystery. The latest telegrams, dated Thursday, state: It is feared that a grave crisis has occurred. No information regarding Sunday's great Socialist and Labor congress has been received. A correspondent, writing on November 14, fears that a revolution is growing, especially at Rotterdam, where the arrival of tr&ops has increased the excitement.
