ARMISTICE
CONFISCATED GERMAN WARSHIPS. A FURTHER LIST. ADMIRAL BEATTY ACCEPTS SURRENDER. Received Nov. 18. 7.55 p.m. London, Nov. 17. Besides the battleships and battlecruisers previously mentioned, Admiral Beatty has ordered the ligfhit cruisers Emden, Frankfurter, Bnummerbrenise, Koln, and Dresden to leave port not later thin 5 a.m. on the 'lßth, with reduced crews and no ammunition. A great concourse of Allied warships will meet them at the appointed rendezvous. Admiral Beatty is accepting the surrender on board the Queen Elizabeth.— United Service.
GERMANY WARNED. LAW AXD ORDER A PRE-REQUISITE. Received Nov. 18, 7.55 p.m. Paris, Xov. 17. According to Berlin messages, President Wilson has informed the Government that the maintenance of law and order is a pre-requisite of the armistice, which wil be dissolved if Joffe and other Russian Bolshevik representatives return to Germany.—Aus.
