ARMISTICE
EVACUATION OF OCCUPIED COUNTRIES. AN ADDITIONAL DAY GRANTED. Received Nov. 14, 10.5 p.m. i London, Nov, 33. A wireless French official message states:—The Allied High Command grants an additional day to the fortnight to allow for the evacuation of Belgium, Luxemburg, and Alsace-Lor-raine. It announces that otherwise the terms of the armistice cannot at present be modific-d,—Aus.-NZ. Cable Assoc. and Reutere.

ALLIES TAKING NO CHANCES. Received Nov. 15, 12.30 a.m. London, Nov. 13. A wireless French official message informs Germany that the only permissible negotiations between tlie armies are those dealing with timed mines and other hurtful contrivances.
A permanent international armistioe committee will shortly be meeting at Spa. It deals with all other questions, regarding which the Allied armies are forbidden to engage in pourparlers.Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter.
