LORD MAYOR'S SHOW.
A HISTORIC PAGEANT. London, Nov. 10. The Lord Mayor's show was the most memorable and the longest on record, covering two miles. There were enormous crowds. The show was entirely military, including British- tanks, guns ami trench mortar*. There were detachments of Australians, Now Zealanders, Canadian.-;, <uid South Africans, with their bands, with Italians, Portuguese and Americans.
On view were thirteen German guns, including one milimetre, captured by the Australians, and a seventy-seven milimetre, taken by the New Zealanders. There were detachments of the British Army and Navy, volunteers, cadets from the various women's corps, and also a lorry on which the munitioners were making shells, fuses and. bombs. Overhead an airship and many aeroplanes accompanied the procession.
