BAWERA RACECOURSE, NOVEMBER 20. Arrangements are now well under way for the motor-cycle races whieli are to ibe held on the~Hawera Racecourse on Wednesday, November 20. .The official organ qf the New Zealand Auto-cycle Union. Wheeling, commenting on the (Egmont Club's .programme, says: "The Egmont meeting is second only to Christchurch, and -bids fair to oust it from the premier position in motor racing in this country. This should be gratifying' reading to those who have given the Hawera Club their support. The course is receiving the attcTitioiv. of a special committee for that purpose, and, providing the weather takes up, no complaints should he heard on that score." Entries are satisfactory, and intending competitors who have not yet sent in their nominations are reminded that entries close to-night at 3 o'clock.
