BOWLING.
OPUNAKE BOWLING CLUB. The Opimalce Bowling Club opened its season on Wednesday, visitors being present from Auroa, Pihama, Manaia, and other clubs. Mr J. reaver,- president, formally welcomed the visitors and declared the season open, afternoon tea being provided by Mrs Feaver. The usual match resulted in a win for the president's team by SO to 52. Details are as follows, the president's team being mentioned first::— ( Feaver, Parkes, Lambie, Des Forges, 24; Sinclair, Andrews, Mildenhall, Christie. 20; Papakura, Rogers, Hair, 'Mason, 25; Callaghan, McCarthy, Thorpe. Burton, 14; Pulsford, Judson, Clough, Julian, 31; Stevens, Pease, Sorrcnson, Coraiish, 18.
