THE DEATH ROLL IN SOUTH AFRICA. Capetown, Oct. 29. An official statement estimates the deaths as the result of the epidemic: in the Cape Peninsula alono at 7500, ol whom 25 per cent, were Europeans. At Kimberly the death-roll was nearly 5000. It is probable that the total mortality in the Union is approximately 20,000.
