In conjunction with the Farmers' Organisation Society we report having held a clearing sale of yearling cattle on account of Mr J. F. Stevenson, at which the following prices were realised: Yearling Holstein steers £5 10s to £K Is, small steers £3 'l3s, Jersey cross heifers (good) £7 to £7 Is, others £5 7s to £6 15s, Shorthorn heifers £5 to £5 13s, small heifers £3 15s to £4 os. Our annual hull fair was held at the Hawera. yards on Friday. 18th inst., when the following prices were realised: Two-year Shorthorn bulls from 22 to 25 guineas, yearling Shorthorn bulls 17 to iBJ guineas, 2-year Holstein hulls 22 !to 25 guineas, stud Jersey imlls from '2SJ to 32J guineas, grade ■'■■■wy bulls 12 guineas.
