TO-DAY'S MART.
The Hew Plymouth, branch of tha British Red Cross Society have a special mart for their "Our Day" collection today, and, in addition to the usual shop opposite the Criterion Hotel, have secured the shop lately occupied' by Mr. Hart. Generous donations of cheese, butter, fresh eggs, mutton, pork, turkeys, and other produce, as well as cooked ham and other savories, will be on sale at the latter shop, 'whilst the usual mart has a most excellent supply of cakes, saueage rolls, tarts, bread, and scones. In addition, a sweets stall will ho run in the street, with ft varied selection of liighclass home-made lollies. Vegetable and fancy stalls will also be in evidence, as wel as a beautiful .gelection of choice flowers-
The different departments have been well supplied with very liberjK and choice selections of goods by those in charge, the response to their requests for assistance having been most liberal, and it only remains for the public to see that everything is purchased to ensure a most welcome addition to the funds oi the society.
