FIRES.
VERY SEBIOUS LOSS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, Oct.. 18. The destruction of The Age and Print-i ing Company's office was almost ■ complete. The insurance on the building was 1500; other insurances are not avail- 1 able. The fire had a big hold when discovered, and the wind fanned the flames, making the task of the firemen difficult. It was after midnight before the danger passed. The stocks and plant vesa practically destroyed.
