NOT BEFORE FEBRUARY. LEAVE FOR OTHERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 17. Owing to the postponement of the January and subsequent drafts, the first ballot of Class D will not now be taken before February, so the- men of this class 'will be concentrated at the earliest in June. The recruiting position is very strong. Drafts up to and including March are up to strength. The Fint Division voluntary recruits, and the appellants, after their appeals have been dismissed unconditionally, will therefore be given leave till the draft is concentrating in April. Second Division appellants Will similarly be dealt with and Will have till the draft going into camp at the end of May.
