THE REPATRIATION QUESTION. 'IN HMDS OF IMPERIAL GOVERNi HENT.' By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Oct. 12. Referring to the suggestion by the Mayor of Wellington regarding the repatriation of men in the Imperial units, Sir James Allen yesterday stated it was t'lie business of the Imperial Government to arrange for the return to New Zealand of tho men referred to. The Imperial Government would attend to the matter, consequently there was no need for the New Zealand Government to take action. TRAMWAY TROUBLE SETTLED. Wellington, Oct. 12. The terms of settlement of the tramway trouble arrived at by a conference with the Newtown Conciliation Commissioner have been , agreed to by the men. NIGHTCAPS STRIKE SETTLED. Wellington, Oct. 12. The Nightcaps mine strike has been settled. Tfhe dismissed man was reinstated.
