The first arrangements of, the Allies have now ben carefully reviewed, and information wdl ha immediately cabled from London as to any necessity for any alteration, but. in the meantime, tho information which was given to us in August stands good and should not he cancelled by the statements of Mr. Hoover. That the statement of August referred to the supply of 5,800 000 cubic feet of shipping for New Zealand to tho end of December of this year, and to 20,000,000 feet for Australasia in the following; year. This means that about 13.000,000 feet would ho available for Xc.v Zealand. Thus the Dominion would be placed in a very satisfactory position.
