NEW 2EALANDERS IN HOSPITAL. STATEMENTS BY HIGH OOMMISMISSIONED Received Oct. 11. 7.40 p.m. London, <3et. 10. Sir Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner) visited New Zealand soldiers in hospital. They have had a severe time, but are on the highway to recovery, A number are already on leave. The men of the 41st and 42nd P.einforcements are in splendid health, these having had no sickness on the voyage. Addressing them, Sir Thomas, Mackenzie said he regarded the Germans as ■beaten, owing to Mr. Lloyd George's policy of joint control, supplemented by the transport of American man-power.-Aus.-N.Z. A BOLSHEVIK CIRCULAR. DESIGNED TO HELP TEE ENEMY. London,' Oct. 10. Soutlhl \Vales labor leaders and many speakers have received a printed circular by post from London with the signatures of Lenin and Trotsky, attacking the Entente policy in Russia. The circular says that those lie who declare that Germany will be beaten. The only way to end the war is for the workers of all countries to combine, and appeals to them to save the Russian revolution and the Bolshevik Government.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
