DEMANDS OF DU'NEJJEf TRAMWAY WORKERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The tramway agreement expired yesterday, and the men to-day presented fresh demands to the employers direct, ignoring the Industrial Court- The principal demand is for a living wage in a 48-hour week of six days, the conductors to receive Is Od the first year and Is 7d thereafter the motormen Is 714 for the first year and Is 8d after; other ranks being proportionately increased. The minimum living wage is defined as £3 12s for six days of eight hours.
