ITALIAN ADVANQE INi ALBANIA. SERBS RE-ENTER NISH. London, Oct. 4. Wireless Italian official: In Albania we began on October 1 an energetic advance between the sea and the Osum and occupied Fieri- On the line of the Semeni front we advanced from Stcr. basi to the Metali bridge, and also gained the heights between Janica, Buvalica and Zitom. On the left of the Oaum we are approaching Berat. The retreating enemy is setting flit to depots. We captured prisoners and much material. —Aus-N.Z. Cable As6n. An Italian semi-official message states that the Italian right wing is continuing the advance astride the Osum. It occupied and passed beyond Berat and continues the pursuit. A wireless Austrian official message states: We have withdrawn our divisions from Albania owing to events on the Bulgarian front, thus Berat fell into the enemy's hands uncontested.— Aus.-N.Z.
