RED TERROR GROWING WORSE 'LIFE IN PETROGRAD UNENDURABLE Received Sept. 0, 5.5 p.m. New York, Oct. 4. Mr. Dosch Fieurot, writing from Stockholm, states: "I learn from a neutral diplomat, who has arrived from Moscow, that if Mr. Poole had reached the Finnish frontier two hours later when he escaped from Russia, he would have been arrested and confined in the fortress of Peter and Paul, as the order for his arrest was given by the Extraordinary Commission against counter-revolution. The diplomat said that life at Petrograd was unendurable and the red terror was growing worse daily. ' Lenin had tried to prevent the wholesale execution of innocent bourgeoise, but the Extraordinary Commission was more powerful than he. In all the cities and provinces the educated classes are being murdered.

A Russian named Escourtier lias readied London and reported that the charred bodies of the Czarina and her four daughters were discovered in the ruins of a 'burned building. The informant confirms tlio stories of the grimmest horrors at Petrograd. The Grand Duchess lias written to a friend in London begging for clothes and food, as she is compelled to sell papers in the streets.
