NEW PLYMOUTH CHAMMONSHIP. The first JS holes in the New Plymouth championship competition were played at Waiwakaiho yesterday, between Gudgeon and Robertshaw. There was a good number of spectators, and a close and interesting game wa3 followed with close attention. At the 13th hole Gudgeon was 3 up, but Rol)prtshaw came up, and the afternon's play finished «p all square. The final section will be played on Saturday afternoon.
