THE AUCKLAND BURGLARIES.
ACCUSED BEFOKE THE COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day,' James Dav> em, Edward .T. GMcLelland, Charles F. McCormick, Patrick Gunn, Walter N, Papesch, Thomas W- Guryi, and Alexander B. Gunn appeared on charges, totalling 23, in connection with the recent burglaries. MeLelland, and McCormick pleaded guilty in respect to the burglary at W. E- Hutchinson's on August 22 and the Bacon Company's on August 30, and were committed for 3ere tenee- 1 McCormick pleaded guilty and Patrick Dunn not guilty to burglary at Barton's boot factory on September 10, and were committed for sentence and trial respectively. Davern, McT.elland, and Papesch pleaded guilty, and were committed for sentence for the burglary at the Electrical Construction Company's on September 8. Other charges will be heard to-morrow.
