' A GREAT MOTION PICTURE TRIUMPH.j •*■>' "THE AUCTION BLOCK." ' An enthusiasm of public attention has been drawn to the Goldwyn picture version of "The Auction Block" Rex Beach's best book. This film was supervised in the making by the author himself, and since his books have always etood, for their human appeal, their charm, their vivacity and their virility, in a class by themselves, there is no doubt whatever but that "The Auction Block" will make a very fine picture. Each and every incident in the story has been worked in natural manner into the whole, and the interpretation is beyond fault, for )t was made with the same ideas as were used by Rex Beach in his book. There is a wealt'hi of beautiful getting to give color to the plot, so that it would certainly be true to say that "The Auction Block" as a picture is right up to ctandard in every way. "The Auction Block" will be shown in New Plymouth at Everybody's theatre next Tuesday and Wednesday and the prices of admission will be Stalls Is and D.C. Is 6d.
