NEW CREAMOATA MILLS.
IMPORTANT N.Z. INDUSTRY. Work on the new structure at Gore for Messrs Fleming and. Co, Ltd., manufacturers of Creamoata, and other well-known cereal foods, has now been commenced in earnest, and it is claimel that this mill, when completed, will be the most complete plant in Australasia for.-, the preparation of various kinds of cereal foods. Some idea of the importance of this industry may be gathered from the fact that in 1917 considerably more than three-fifths of the oat foods used in the Dominion were manufactured by the Gore mills. So far as New Zealand-made food products are concerned, Messrs Fleming and Co., Ltd., have proved that what can he done in other countries can be done here in the Dominion Progressive methods and judicious newspaper advertising have demonstrated to merchants, retailers and public that the imported articles for which we have the raw materials here, can be equalled and even excelled by our N.Z. manufacturers.
