THE GENERAL ELECTION. London, Sept. 24. Newspapers state that a general election in November is unlikely unless circumstances change in the meantime. Though the Government has never actually decided in favor of an election, on the other i hand there appears to be a strong public feeling opposed to the idea. —Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
