British and Greek troops advanced north of Doiran and joined the French and Greeks. The Bulgarians are fleeing. —Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. A Serbian communique on the evening of September 23 says: Our troops yesterday continued to cross the Vardar, where they came in contact with the enemy towards Prilep. The Serbians kave reached the very steep massif of Urenska Plainina and at several points we are on the Prilep road. The enemy continues to burn villages and their own stores. Nevertheless a great quantity of war material has been captured, including several railway trains. A .Bulgarian communique states: As the result of our front giving way between the Cerna and the Vardar our adjacent units were withdrawn to new positions south-westward of Prilep and northward' of Doiran.—Aus.
