SOUTH WALES STRIKE. SERIOUSLY AFFECTING INDUSTRY. Received Sept. 25, 12.10 a.m. London, Sept. 23 The South Wales strike is the result of sectional trouble, affecting only 100, who were discontented with the recent 5s award. The strike has thrown 9000 out of employment, many collieries being aftVted, and i» interfering with the railway traffic Receive* Kept. 45, 1230 a.m. London, Sept. 21 The South Wales railway strike is spreading- seriously. It Includes Newport, Cardiff, Neath, and Llanelly railways. Interruptions are numerous, especially with the coal trade and the main line passenger traffic. Mr. Thomas, MP., has arrived at Newport, and invited the men to a mass meeting, but the men refuse. It is estimated there were several thousand strikers last night, increasing the number of idle colliers.
