'Galore, Bopeep, and Demos made the running. The latter took charge three furlongs from home and won by a neck. Time, lmin. 17 2-ssec. DOMINION DAY HANDTCAP.Classiflcation 1, Willys Knight 2, Matatua 3. Scratched: First Line, Transmission. Mill Queen led the field for most of the distance, but, before entering the straight, Idle Talk and Matatua closed up, followed by Classification, and the latter came through and won comfortably. Time, lmin. 45 4-asec. TATIMI STEEPLECHASE-Waiotnrc 1, Gwynne 2, Bollin 3. Scratched: Lady Renown. From the start, Foeman. Undecided, and Bollin led, Papariki being next. On passing the stand Gwynne led, but after leaving the straight VVaioture took command, established a lead of several lengths, and won easily. Gaekwar, King's Park, and Hoatu fell. Wallace Young being badly shaken. King's Park had to be destroyed. Time, 4min. 45sec. MEMORIAL STAKES.-Detroit 1. Bronk Delaval 2, All Over 3. Scratched: Sweet Tipperary, Ladify. From the start Hydrus, Devotion, All Over, and Kiltess made the running., Bronk Delaval was first into the straight, but was beaten on the post by a bare head, the same separating the second; and third. Time, 2min. 13 2-ssec,
STEWARDS' HANDICAP.—AIiika 1. Cession 2, Utinvai 3. Scratched: Rajput, Livland. Nahiur, Idle Talk, War Scot, Trickery, and Sea Fojtm. A good start saw the first two in the lead, and they were never headed. Ahika won by a length and a half, a half length separating the second and third. Time, lmin. 19see.
KEREIHLKOERA WELTER.-P.ovo-eation 1, Sardinia 2, Hydrus 3. Scratched: Detroit. From the start Sweet Tippc.rarv was first out, followed by Revocation and Sea Lord. In Il\e straight Sardinia made the junning, but failed by a length, there being two lengths between the second and third. Time, lmin. 34<1-ssee.
MAlDEN—Kipling 1, Cotillion 2, Bonny Briar 3. .Cotillion war, braekctteil with Stirrup Cup. Scratched: Belle. 0' the Camp, Stutter, and Naughty Uirl. From the start Cotillion and Bonny Briar led, but Kipling led into the straight and won by a length, half a length separating the second aniL,third. Time, lmin. 5 4-osco.
WELTER HACK HANDICAP,- Manu 1, Consultation 2, Willy's Knight 3. Scratched: Qninn's Post, Star Lady, Whetoki. Occasion, La Pucelle, Toddy. Won comfortably after a good race. Time, lmin. 33sec. J
