FOOTBALL.
SDVEN-A-STDE TOURNAMENT Keen and fast football should result in the tournament to lie held at the A. and P show grounds, Stratford, on Thursday As previously mentioned, 10 teams arc expected to face the referee, iiiay coinmncing shortly after 1 o'clock. Shops will dose at 1-1 o'clock, and during the afternoon the band will play several selections. The Ladies' Patriotic Committtce will provide afternoon tea and sweets at a nominal figure. Lest we forget, it may b» added that the results will go towards the Copper Trail fund (Red Cross appeal).
