AUSTRIAN SUBSIDY HALVED. ANOTHER PEACE RESOLUTION. London, Sept. 19. The Amsterdam correspondent of the Morning 'Pogt is informed on trustworthy authority that the German Government has reduced the subsidy to Austria by half. Meanwhile Austria continues her peace offensive. It is understood that Count Czernin, acting with some members of the Reichsrath, is engaged in framing a peace resolution, to be introduced in the session of the Eeiehsrath, which will open on the Ist of October. The resolution suggests Austria-Hungary's willingness to submit eventually all the eastern questions, including Poland, to an international solution.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Association.
