Sir.—l think it.about time the attention of the public was drawn to the number of Germans and other aliens who are marrying our English girls, thus taking the nationality of their husbands. ' In the last few months there has been a large number of such marriages in one particular district of Taranaki. Is 'it another case of "peaceful penetration" by the wily Hun? Anyway, it will soon lead to the Germanising of New Zealand. In one town five persons out of every sixare Germans, or married to Germans or other aliens, which is a bad lookout for anyone who desires to keep God's own country for the British race —I am, etc., JAMES SMITH.
