, THE I.W.W. COMMISSION. ; Received Aug. 30, 9,13 p.m. ' Sydney, Aug. 30. The 1 latest development at the I.W.W. Commission is Goldstein's two contradictory declarations, which have been published. The first accuses the police, of accepting bribes of money and suits of clothes from Goldstein in connection with the forged note case, wherein Goldstein was arrested and discharged. He alleges that the police placed a fire dope in the pocket of one of the I.W.W. accused. The second statement withdraws all the charges, and admits that the allegations are untrue, and that they were made because of the persecution and ostracism suffered through acting as a Crown witness. —Aus.
