WOMEN FOR WAR WORK. Received Aug. 30, 8.15 p.m. Amsterdam, Aug. 20. The German press is appealing for many more women to engage in military work, so as to release men for the front. It appears that hitherto fewer than 15,000 women were recruited.—Reuter.
