Further documents produced at the Irish inquiry included a letter from Qoran to his sister in Ireland, dated from the United States on November 2!), 1916, in which he inquires:— I "What is the spirit of the country? Can it rally to deliver a deathblow to the tyrant when the coming' opportunity presents itself? Oh, for a thousand U-boats; all else i 9 provided. Patience, the hour will strike!"—Aus.-NZ.
