Mr. Rowell, president of the Canadian Privy Council, says that Canadian casualties are fewer in the present year tl-iu in previous years, owing largely to the fact that the Canadian divisions, unlike those of Britain and Australia, are constantly kept up to strength.— Press Assoc.
