OPU'NAKE v. STRATFORD. The play-off between these clubs -will take place at the A. and P. show grounds on Thursday next, play commencing at 3 p.m. This will give visitors from north and south ample time to catch trains. Both teams are in hard training, and a keen struggle is anticipated. The team has had a very •successful year, as the following results indicate: —Versus Rovers, played at Stratford, won, 11—0: v. Technical College, at New Plymouth, won, 8—0; v. High School, at Stratford, lost, 3—G: v. Technical College, at Stratford, won, 18—0; v. High School, at (New Plymouth, won, 10-MJ: v.
