ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES.
THE "AXCOXIA" SHEEP-DIP CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, August 22.
•Tolin C. Harrison to-day appeared at the Police Court on six charges of false pretences in connection with the sale of "Anconia" sheep dip, alleged to be worthless.
Evidence was given as to the '.lature of the ingredients by Alfred J. Parker, Government Analyst, Auckland; .lames S. M'Laurin, Dominion Analyst; John L. Bruce, assistant director of live stock; H. Bruce. Government inspector of stock; and Herbert W. Carberry, Government veterinarian.
Accused pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence, and was committed for trial on five charges, the hearing of the feixth being adjourned for a week.
