NEW PLYMOUTH PIERROTS.

FANCY COSTUME FOOTBALL MATCH. A largely attended and enthusiastic meeting of Pierrots was held on Monday evening to discuss the proposed fancy costume footbajll match vo be played on the sports ground in aid of the Piprrots' -113000 Stunt. Mr. L. Clark presided and outlined the proposals of the sub-committee which had the matter in hand. These were approved.

Messrs Jenkinson, Moon and 'Whitcombe were added to the committee. The teams will he chosen from the following:— L-. Clarke, W. Jenkinson, Brash, O. Clarke, Urquhart, Smythe, Robertson, Plumtree, Duff, Parkin, Boyd, P. Webster, C. Webster, L. Toffmann, T. Thompson, Moon, jivery, J. Moroy, J. Loveli, R. .Tohnsoi;, <J. YVara, J. Abbott, Whitcombe, B. Clarke, C. Fairbrotlier. D. Cameron, W. Stevens, W. Page, C. G. Gray, Witton, M. Armstrong, Barclay, W. Marshall, E. Humphries, J. Eberlet, D. Morgan, R. Paul, W. Wood, Dockrill.

It was decided to ask the Pierrots to take charge of the arrangements in connection with the affairs on and off the ground other than the football match i'feelf.

The charge for admission was fixed at one shilling for adults and sixpence for children.

It was resolved to include on tho afternoon's programme an obstacle race for boys, and the arrangements were left with Mr Webster.

It was decided to approach the Pierrots with a suggestion that the Ladies' Patriotic Committee be asked to take charge of the afternoon tea and refreshment marquee. It was also a,greed that the Mayor be asked to declare a half-holiday on the aftornoon of the match and also to ask the schools to close for the half-day. Mr. Lovell's offer to provide four costumes was accepted with wlank.B. Sub-committee 3 were appointed, to arrange various details.
