| CONSTITUTION OF REVIEWING , COMMITTEE. A PALMERSTON ■ (PROTEST, By Telegraph.—Press Association Palmerston N., Last Night. The Chamber of Commerce, after »n am mated discussion, in which the setting up of a distinctively military committee to/ report on the adverse findings of the Military Commission, was adversely commented on, passed a resolution—"That this chamber is strongly of opinion that the National Efficiency Board, as representing the business side of the community, should be invited to participate in the conference with the military tribunal whidb. has Been set up to advise the Government in regard to the recommendations contained in the report of the Defence Expenditure Com< mission."
CONFERENCE TO CONSIDER RECOMMENDATIONS. Wellington, Last Night. A conference to consider' the recom mendations and suggestions of the Defence Expenditure Commission opens at the Defence Headquarters; to-morrow, under the presidency of Major-Genetal Robin. The result of the deliberations will be submitted to the .Minister of De--1 fence.
