NEW PLYMOUTH. Subject to, necessary "alterations, mails will close at the chief post office, New Plymouth, as under:
For Auckland and North, dally per train at 6.15 a.m.
For Auckland and north, per s.s, Earawa, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 am Tor Napier and Gisbornc, daily'at G. 15 a.m. Por Wellington and South, daily at 6.15 a.m. For Wanganul and intermediate offices, daily at 6.15 a,m., 10.45 a.m. and 2.45 p.m. For Opunake and Intermediate offices, per motor bus, daily at 6.15 aim.
WEDNESDAI, AUGUST 21. For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan Straits Settlements, Pago Pago, Samoa, and Honolulu (per a.s. Krrerhw. from Wellington), at 6.15 a.m. Money orders, registered letters and parcels close one hour beforo tho ordinary mail. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuabl.3 Intended/to be sent by post. That letter usually superscribed "Via Suez" should now be superscribed "For first direct steamer."
