CONTINUATION CLASSES.
RECOMMENDED FOR BOYS AND GWLB CMDER EIGHTEEN.

'At the Education Conference, which represented all local educational governing bodies, the report by a sub-committee was adopted, recommending the principle of cdßipulspry daytime continuation classes for all boys and girl* to the age of eighteen. Where the holding of a technical class in a country district is practicable and valuable the Department should grant a reasonable sura to cover the cost of such class, instead of (paying capitation. Except where special provision is made it should b£ obligatory on employer* to enable their employees 1111j der eighteen to attend continuation classes without loss of wages. .
