CAPPELLI. Tt is rarely that New Plymouth has the opportunity of hearing such an artist as Signor Cappelli, who is announced to appear at Everybody's Theatre for a short season, commencing on next, August 21. When the Gonsalez Opera Company toured the Dominion a little more than a year ago, it was unanimously agreed that Cappeiii stood out as the bright particular star amongst a gifted body of artists. Cappelli's voice makes a wonderful appeal, not only to those musically inclined, but also to that great section of the people who appreciate an artist for his merits alone. His singing is remembered as a revelation of artistry, while the interpretation of the various roles enacted by him are recalled, ns masterly in the extreme. Cappelli will be supported by Mr. John Amadio, flautist; Miss Vera' Bedford, sporano; Signor Cesarino, basso; and Mr. Harold Whittle, accompanist.
