HOTEL BURNED.
A MYSTERIOUS OUTBREAK. *
Thames, August 15. A fire last night totally destroyed the Governor Ferguson Hotel and a- cottage adjoining. The landlord and the inmates were about aUthe time. The origin o£ the fire is a mystery. The llotw was rebuilt some years ago, after being burnt, down. It was owned by Campbell and Ehrenfried, Auckland. The only injuranee known locally is that on the fmgi-i ture.
