SUCCESSFUL RAIDS.
ON-A 10-MILB FRONT.

(Palestine official:—On the night of the 12th August, we raided successfully various points on a 10-mile front on the Asidi-Jerusalem-Neblanz Road, killing 200 and prisonering 17 Turkish! officers and 230 of other ranks. Fifteen machineguns were taken.
On the morning of the (fth August, the Royal Air Force and Australian units bombed enemy camps in the vicinity of the Amman railway station. Many effective hits were noticed, and ground targets were machine-gtuuieu. " The Imperial Camel Corps, co-operat» ing with Arabs, seized Mudawara railway station, killed 35, and prisonered 120, and two guns were captured.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter.
