MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED.
CRASHES INTO TRAIN. T!y Telegraph.—Press Association - Wellington, Last Night A fatal motor-cycle accident occurred nt Cnrterton this afterwon. Percy Parker was proceeding into the town on his motorcycle, and readied the Kent StroH erasing at the :mno time as the 3.i) train from Masterton. The engine gave its usual crossing signal, which apparently was not heard by the motorist, who rmshed into the sixth truck he-hind the engine. Parker was thrown some distance gack against a fence, and was frightfully injured. A doctor was rpiiok]y on the scene, and ordered his removal to Grey town Hospital, but Parker died before reaching the institution. Tieceased was 21 years of age, and was to !|o into camp on Wednesday.
